ICO and favicon pack
Make a crisp website icon in the sizes browsers and devices need. Use ICO and favicon pack locally with practical instructions, output settings and format limits.
ICO and favicon pack
Create an ICO containing several useful icon sizes, extract an icon to PNG, or assemble a favicon ZIP for a website. The source image is fitted into a square canvas with transparent padding. Choose a clean mark that remains recognisable when reduced to a small browser icon.
- Create a website favicon package
- Export an ICO as a PNG image
- Make a multi-size icon for a desktop shortcut
How to use ICO and favicon pack
Choose a clear source mark
Upload one supported raster image or ICO. Prefer a simple, well-framed mark because small favicon sizes cannot retain the detail of a full illustration.
Choose the export mode
Select multi-size ICO, ICO to PNG or favicon ZIP. For PNG output, set the requested square size between sixteen and five hundred twelve pixels.
Build the icon files
Run Create output. The artwork is proportionally padded to a square, and the chosen mode produces either one image file or a packaged set.
Inspect the smallest icon
Download the result and check a small icon size as well as the large preview. For a ZIP, inspect the included files before adding them to a website.
Understand the settings
- Export
- Choose export according to the result you need. Available choices: Multi-size ICO; ICO to PNG; Favicon ZIP. The initial selection is Multi-size ICO.
- PNG size (px)
- PNG size (px) accepts values from 16 to 512, using whole numbers. The initial value is 256. Change it for a specific output requirement, then check the result before processing more files.
A favicon set for a small site
A square company mark needs browser and mobile icon files. Choose favicon ZIP and create the package. It includes favicon.ico, several PNG sizes and a site.webmanifest, which can be integrated into the website after reviewing the small-size appearance.
Check your result
Upload a supported file, adjust the settings and create the output. ICO includes 16, 32, 48, 64 and 256 px images. Pack also includes 180, 192 and 512 px PNGs. Open the saved output in the app or workflow where you plan to use it. Check one representative result before repeating the same settings with more files. The original files stay unchanged.
What to know before you start
- Files are processed on this device. Browser memory and engine-specific limits apply. Save results before reloading.
- ICO includes 16, 32, 48, 64 and 256 px images. Pack also includes 180, 192 and 512 px PNGs.
- Upload one file with a combined size of at most 100 MB. The completed output must fit within 200 MB.
- Files are checked by the local engine; a matching filename alone is not proof of valid contents.
- Selections and completed jobs stay available while you navigate inside this tab. Use My files to revisit results. Reloading or closing the tab clears the workspace; download results you want to keep first.
ICO and favicon pack: common questions
Which sizes are inside the ICO?
The ICO includes images at 16, 32, 48, 64 and 256 pixels. Keeping several sizes in one file allows compatible applications to choose an appropriate representation rather than scaling a single large bitmap.
What does the favicon ZIP contain?
The ZIP contains the multi-size ICO, PNG icons including 180, 192 and 512 pixels, and a site.webmanifest. Downloading the package does not automatically configure a site; add the files and references in your website project.
Will a wide logo be cropped?
The source is fitted into a square with transparent padding, retaining its proportions. A very wide wordmark can therefore become tiny at favicon scale; a separate simplified symbol usually remains easier to recognise.
Does PNG size change the ICO?
The PNG size setting applies to the PNG export mode. Multi-size ICO uses its predefined size set, and the favicon pack generates its own collection of ICO and PNG files for common icon uses.
Does ICO and favicon pack upload files to another service?
Processing runs in this browser, on your device. Files and pasted input are not uploaded to a conversion server. The website and required engine assets must load first; large operations depend on available device memory.
Can I continue after changing pages?
Selections and completed jobs stay available while you navigate inside this tab. Use My files to revisit results. Reloading or closing the tab clears the workspace; download results you want to keep first.
